(Haiku written with the left hand)

1.

Left-handed haiku.
What syllables swim my brain?
Fish climb the ladder.

2.

The vixen searches.
Hexed into human girl flesh.
Form trick yet lesson.

3.

As a child, he asked,
“Does everyone have to die?”
Now, he’s killing time.

4.

Swifts return at dusk.
The self visiting the self.
Wings in the chimney.

5.

Horses beneath words
Run like this, like this, like this.
Sentence of hoofbeats.
